EU Biotech and Life Sciences MEP Alliance welcomes new supporters and appoints RPP Group as secretariat

The EU Biotech and Life Sciences MEP Alliance today announced two major developments: expansion of the support base for the Secretariat with the Life Sciences Acceleration Alliance e.V. (LSAA) and Vaccines Europe joining EuropaBio, and the appointment of RPP Group as the Alliance’s new secretariat.

The Life Sciences Acceleration Alliance e.V. (LSAA) brings together investors, corporate leaders, and experts to advance Europe’s life sciences ecosystem by improving policy frameworks, fostering public–private collaboration, and enabling more effective translation of research into innovation and deployment.

Vaccines Europe, a specialised vaccines group within the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA), represents the research-based vaccine sector in Europe. The association voices the industry’s views on key policy issues at EU level, and raises awareness of the value of immunisation, the innovation driving the sector, and its contribution to public health in Europe and worldwide.

Together, both organisations reinforce the Alliance’s capacity to engage at the intersection of innovation, prevention, and health security and reflect a shared recognition that Europe’s competitiveness in biotech and life sciences depends on coordinated action across research, regulation, investment, and industrial policy.

While the Alliance benefits from a growing base of institutional supporters, it continues to operate with full independence in its governance, strategic priorities, and activities. Its focus remains on fostering constructive dialogue between Members of the European Parliament and key stakeholders, as well as on identifying practical policy solutions that accelerate innovation, improve patient access, and strengthen Europe’s health resilience.

RPP Group has been appointed as the new Secretariat of the EU Biotech and Life Sciences MEP Alliance, succeeding APCO. RPP brings extensive expertise in healthcare policy and coalition management across Europe. As Secretariat, RPP Group will oversee the Alliance’s day-to-day operations, stakeholder engagement, and event activities, ensuring continuity and momentum for the Alliance’s work.

Please note that all Alliance contact details and social media channels remain unchanged.
